what ive been up to

so I close my eyes
sit high in the dark
nod my head and escape all the pain in my heart
id take a walk but the streets are as dead as the people
and I cant wrap my mind around why I feel different
must be how I was raised
wihout passion to cheat
could have something to do with how I think more than speak
cause I see the big picture
its never not right in front of me
ive been fillin in blanks with the ink from my memories
I just cant believe it
all the life that ive seen and how used I am to leaving

I love getting enough time to post up in NY and switch back over into creative mode. I like tour/promotion mode to but I can really only bear it to a certain extent and then I need to get back to this side. though they kind of flip back and forth. thats the cycle though.

to me vunerability in writing is so important. stop posturing for a second and let people see the cracks in your armor. everyones human and we're all relatable. let them see the full scope of who you are and your message will set in a lot easier.
